Before the weekend I'm doing on the way to Berlin, I wanted to quickly get rid of another Munich-tip. Especially valuable in fine weather, in any case a trip is, in my opinion, the botanic garden at the Nymphenburg Palace.
Great spot to spend a sunny summerday in Munich: The botanical garden next to the Nymphenburg Palace. There
Winding arcades there as well as a lovingly created jewelry garden in front of the beautiful backdrop of the Botanical Institute at the center of the plant.
You'll find winding pergolas and a lovely garden geometrical arranged in front of the botanical institute in the center of the garden.
also recommended, although with the current heat somewhat equivocal, the greenhouses. The worst thing in the water lily house, but compensated for it the reflection of the ceiling in the water when it creates live up to the other side:)!.
Also recommendable are the greenhouses, even if you are melting in there. The hottest and most humid one is the water lily house, but you can find a beautiful reflection in there.
Unfortunately I did not manage to make a complete tour, but by the beautifully landscaped Alpinum I have yet done. The rest I look then at the next visit! The visit to the castle I can recommend, however limited. Besides the skin Hall, the so-called Stone Hall of François de Cuvilliés, I found the tour a bit short and disappointing.
I did not make my way through the whole space, but there will be a next time for sure. As opposed to this the visit to the palace was kind of disappointing to me. It was short and less impressing as hoped for. Only the main hall was worth the admission.
